    Continuously running ejector pump
Please help! My ejector pump will not turn off! I finally just flipped the breaker to stop it from running! Will it eventually burn out if I don't have someone look at it? Is there something I can do?

Sounds like your float switch is not working. Couldn't you just unplug it rather than flipping the breaker? Remove the cover and look to see if the switch is snagged on something so it can't drop down. If it is down then it has failed. You can add a new float without replacing this one or buying a new pump. Sump Pump Float Switch from Flotec | The Home Depot - Model#: FP18-15BD
