    Moving my dryer upstairs can I add to existing 220
    Wanting to move my washer (110) and dryer(220) upstairs. Can I simply just add 220 cable to the existing 220

    Yes, you can extend the circuit with new cable of the same type, size, etc. using the proper cable connectors in a junction box and cover to splice the wires.

    The junction box cannot be hidden when done.
