I am SO sorry for your loss - we've all lost a dog and so we all know how difficult this is.

The person who can tell you 100% is your Vet BUT I am reading that the incubation period is 5 to 10 days. I would say, yes, she had parvo when you bought her.

Have you contacted the breeder? You should get your money back - plus Vet bills, depending on where you live - AND the breeder should notify other people who have purchased pups from him or whose dogs have had contact with his.

Again, I'm so sorry - it's a virus and keeping her warm, things along those lines, had nothing to do with her death. It was totally, absolutely NOT your fault.

What would I do if the breeder wouldn't return my money plus the Vet bills? I'd sue in Small Claims Court. Bring a letter from your Vet concerning his/her treatment of your dog, his/her medical opinion, his/her bills.

    This makes me very sad.

SO SORRY that you lost your yorkie :( I would say that she had it when you got her but then I'm no vet so I would recommend asking your vet one think you should do for certain is contact the breeder and get your money back the breeder is wrong to have sold you a faulty puppy and you should really get your money back so sorry for yor loss again.

This is really sad my mother had a sheperd with parvo he died when I was a kid I got a shepard that got parvo but he is still alive today. They both got it from the breeders other dogs so your yorkie probably got it before you even got her
They don't show symptoms until it is serious (to parvo)
