The ability to pay short-term debt as it comes due like for salaries or other payables. If a company takes out a shsort-term loan will they have enough resources to pay it back when it becones due, or can you purchase additional assets like invenotry to take advantage of any special deals that are offered with quantity discounts just to name two considerations.
