I went out with this girl for over a year, I broke up with her after a very rocky road. It is now six months after we broke up and I've already been with someone else but I can't stop thinking about my ex.

How old are you, and why can't you ignore the thought or move them aside and do your own thing?

In truth, it takes a while of being without them to get over them. Break ups suck don't they? The feelings tend to linger long after the actual break up.

Just keep meeting new girls. Even though it may seen hopeless, you eventually meet someone even better and you will be so happy! :)

It's hard to get over an ex, but hanging out with friends, getting back into a single life, and meeting new people can really help with it.
