I cannot turn it on. Instead I get a blinking red light. Tried unplugging and pluggin back in but to no avail. I also rebooted my cable box. (Time Warner ) please help

How many times does the light blink? Does it begin blinking as soon as you plug it in? Or only after you press the power button?

I have the same problem it blinks when plugged in 10 times pauses for 2-3 seconds and repeats blinking

You will likely need the unit serviced. If it is under any kind of warranty you will want to contact the retailer or warranty company. A 10-blink shut down at plugin can indicate any of several boards. Without performing some tests, it is difficult to be certain which one, and if it is only one.
