My colleague playing hot and cold
So I work with this guy who I find extrememy attractive. For the past 6 months or so we have been flirting and hanging out at work. A few weeks ago he asked me if I wanted to get a drink outside of work sometime. I said sure why not, and he said he would get back to me (he was going on holiday and wasn't sure when he would be back). I added him on F/B and immediately he sent me back a message saying "I'll contact you next week to arrange that drink".
This was over 2 weeks ago, and still no contact: it seems obvious that the guy has blown me off. Initially I was disappointed, but hey, this kind of thing happens and I don't really care that much.
What I AM wondering though, is why he would ask me out if he had no intention of going out for a drink, knowing that he will see me at work regularly?
