Me and my ex boyfriend split up 6 months ago and I had no where to live so my friend took us in he only had a one bedroom flat and then social services got involved and said it wasn't suitable for them and they said they are going to live with there dad till u get suitable accommodation I have now got suitable accommodation and they still haven't been given back to me I get them for a few days a week what am I supposed to do he never has the kids he dumps them on his mom and goes to work even though he is not allowed to work cause he gets severe disablement allowance and he has a 2 bedroom flat and my son and daughter share the same room but his mom stays and shares the same bed as my daughter

Where you are matters. You say "flat." Are you in the UK?

Yes I am in the uk

So you went back to social services and told them you fulfilled their requirements and then what happened?

No there isn't a custody order and I went back to social services and they never sorted it

So you go back to your case worker and push her. Tell them, they required you get suitable housing and you did, so what's the hold up?

I have just phoned my support worker and told her I am not happy with the situation of my children.
There dad never has them he dumps them on his mom and goes out drinking all the time and his mom shares the same bed as my 6 year old daughter at his 2 bedroom flat and his brother sleeps on the settee.
I have done everything right why should I be the one that is getting punished.
His mom had a nervous breakdown a few years ago and tried killing herself in front of my daughter and they said she is safe to be with her and her uncle flips out and beats people up.
Any advice would be appreciated

It's the same advice - go to Court and try to get custody. The support worker can do little to help you.
