    Can you fight a judgement?
My old bank is trying to get a judgement against me for an overdraft fee that they caused with a service fee. The service fee that caused me to be overdrafted by $1. They didn't inform me for 7 days while charging me $30 a day for being overdrafted. They refused to reverse the fees and I couldn't afford to pay it. They also wouldn't close the account or stop adding fees. I ended up owing $750 when they finally closed the account. They had a lawyer call me to collect. I told him I wanted to fight it in court and he said I can't. With court costs I would end up owing $2000. He said my only choice is to settle for $250. How can I fight this?

Unforunately if this went to court and they win even 1cent they can also get you for court costs and lawyer fees. I advise you to settle and never do business with them again.
