Hi I am 22 years old just had a baby 6 month ago. I stopped breast fedding her 3 month ago because I got this contacts allergies and the medication was to strog for the baby... But I am worried because I haven't got my period I'm on birth control (implanon) help pleas :/

It could be due to having recently stopped breastfeeding, or it might be due to the implanon, which can alter cycles. Some women will experience more bleeding with its use, others will have little or not bleeding. While on implanon, you won't really be able to rely on a lack of periods as a possible indicator for pregnancy. Odds are low that pregnancy will occur, but since no contraceptive method is 100%, it can become a possibility.

You may want to try a pregnancy test every couples of months if you continue to not have periods just for the peace of mind. The implanon would not effect test results.
