My dog has a problem with her kidneys. She was on IV for 4 days at vets. She is home now, but won't eat. She will take a few bites of pretty much everything but her medicated dog food, and drinks some water.

Is HGE what your vet said was wrong? Bloody Diarrhea - Hemorrhagic GastroEnteritis (HGE) in Dogs It does not appear that HGE has to do with kidneys.
