I am a 60 year old woman experiencing hair loss. I do not take any medications other than a one a day vitamin and calcium.I have read that Saw Palmetto and Biotin were helpful for this problem. I recently read that if you have had breast cancer that you should not use Saw Palmetto--why? I have NOT had breast cancer, however my sister has--so I am at risk. Would it be too risky for me to take it?
Does Saw Palmetto cause cancer?
