My puppy had parvo and miraculously made it through without a vet visit, I want to know if the virus can travel on me? Can I infect another animal by being around it?

May I ask, if you don't mind. If you didn't take your pup to the vet how are certain are you that it actually had parvo.

Was your puppy outside ? Parvo virus may stay around for a long time in the yard . You should bleach the areas the pup was inside your house. Your clothing just needs to be washed . I'm pretty sure if you are taking your dog someplace else a week after recovery is OK. Beyond that I'll defer to the professionals here .

I think you should just focus on purchasing an adult with a known vaccine history...
