My 1 year old Brussels Griffon has always loved to ride in the car. We have taken her on many lengthy road trips and she has always been fine. Yesterday I drove with her and she was restless, shaking, and excessively salivating. When the car stopped at red lights and when we got home she was fine. Do you think it could be motion sickness? She has been fine since but I haven't taken her out again since.

Many dogs suffer from motionsickness, and it can be worse on some days than on others. I know they make a car sick pill for dogs, but usually getting them to lay down or a busrt of fresh air will do the trick. If you notice she seems to be watching things zoom past, try and distract her.
