I have a abscess on my biceps and it hurts more than anything. My doctor first put me on anti-bionics and when I went back for my check up today she said wed have to lance it. We tried that and it didn't work because it was deeper than she had though. She made a small incision in my arm and was trying to push out the abscess. After pushing for so long I couldn't handle it anymore she stopped and said that it did not drain but she packed it and said it should drain on its own in the next couple of days. I go back to the doctors on Wednesday. I'm just wondering if she should have just tried to get the abscess out since she already opened it?

It is ANTIBIOTICS by the way, not anti-bionics. I don't think she should have tried harder after she realized how deep it was, bit should have removed it in a hospital atmosphere.
