I married someone 12 years ago to gain secure his stay. After the marriage he was granted a leave to remain in the uk in 2002 I never reported it for fear of incrimminalizing myself. I also have a teenage daughter from a previous relationship before meeting him. The church I met him in said I should divorce him after he gains his permanent stay. I befriended him and he said he wanted a relationship and intended to settle with me. Anyway I naively believed him and after he said he needed to apply for council housing for himself and 2 children who he initially did not tell me about since then he has abused my trust and I've spent years of psychological abuse and I have even had two children with him who I have been looking after on my own as a single mother now he has been given custody by social services taking me to court and I am recognized in the community as a wonderful mother he is threatening me to abduct them to jamaica I don't even know if he has a criminal history there and if the local authorities checked. I am in a mess please do you have any advice. He has not promoted contact and put a restraining order on me I think he wants to make me look like a neglectful parent and the children have seen me twice since may201. I am being treated like an illegal alien and criminal and he seems to have all the rights
