Considering my age factor which is advisable weather it is flute/violin

Rent one, then the other, and decide to buy one based on what your feelings tell you.
Unless you have breathing problems (flute) or raising your arms (both) I see no reason to choose one over the other based on anything but personal preference.
I would have a tough time choosing.
