My dog stop eating. Took her to Vet found out she has Lime and also had a bad urinary infection. Giving her antibiotics for infection but I can not give her meds for Lime because she has stopped eating.She use to eat like a horse.Vet gave me appetite sttimulant but it has not helped.I have tried chicken,pork,ground beef, different types of dog food.She will not eat.I have to forced a few pieces in her mouth.She is still drinking water. I need help.I don't know what to do.

Try feeidng satin balls. They are designed to put weight on starved, stressed rescue dogs. They are very palatable and dogs supposibly love them.

This is a tough problem. Antibiotics will make dogs nauseous and not want to eat. Its hard to not give them the medicine because they need it, but they also need to be taking an antibiotic that will sit well with their stomaches and at the same time, be at the therapeutic level to actually do some good.

Stay in touch with your vet. Its going to be a trial of which antibiotic will work or not for both her problem and whether its going to give her an upset stomach.
