    Follow the previous step to change the frequency if the ceiling fan is randomly turning on or off. Other electronic devices such as garage door openers can interfere with the ceiling fans receiver, causing it to randomly turn on or off. How do I fix this

    What previous steps are you talking about, this appears to be your first post. There is a receiver in the fan canopy and it has several small "dip switches." The hand held remote has the same set of switches, they are either I or O. Simplest thing to do is move al switches on both unit to just I.Test the remote, it should work. If your random operation was caused by a nearby RF the problem should be gone.
