What do I do when I'm attempting to open a program and the computer freezes?

First, hold down control/alt/delete at the same time and the task manager comes up. Try to close the program. If that doesn't work, shut off the computer, wait a minute or two and reboot. When you access, it will ask ' do you want to go to the to main page or program. I always go to main and start over.
