From what I can remember, there was a man and a woman who had fell in love with other, and unwillingly the man had to leave her and go into the army for some reason. He became friends with a fellow soldier and was invited to his house for dinner. When he arrives, he meets his friend's wife, or mayby fiancŽ, but it was the same women that he left and whom he was in love with. That is the last I saw of this movie and I am still dying to finish watching it. If anyone can please help me find the title of this movie I wouold really appreciate it. It is an old movie I know, but I don't remember if it was in color or black and white.
