I am 19 years old and recently started taking birth control. I missed one while on my period. I have been bleeding now for over two weeks now. I had sex twice while I was slightly bleeding. Both times we did not use protection. I have randomly been getting cramps just for like 10 minutes at a time. I don't know how to make the bleeding stop.

You should go back and see the doctor who prescribed your birth control,
Next normally you have to be on birth control for about a month before it has effect. Also it is not 100 percent so if you don't want to get pregnant, consider a second form also.

I got the birth control from Planned Parenthood.

As most know my opinion of Planned Parenthood (I would recommend the local VET over them personally) So I do suggest you get and go to a doctor.

It may just be how your body is adjusting to the birth control pills. Sometimes you need to give it a bit of time, or sometimes a different sort might work better for you. Did you receive literature along with the pill to explain possible side effects? If not, you can look these up online for the brand that you are using.

How long have you been on the pill? Irregular bleeding can have various causes, so if it continues, do have it checked.
