Hi, I had a termination in January and the T IUD inserted at the same time..
Since then I've had one period slightly heavier and longer then before...
I had unprotected sex a few times with my boyfriend just at the end of my period..
Though it seems like my period has never really stopped.. I have had pink discharge everyday since the end of my period.
Also I get dull aches in my womb area from time to time
I also got a case of what I think was thrush which I treated with canesten... but I read this is more common with the coil...
I didn't find any information on the net that could help
Im worried I could be pregnant again!! :( :confused:

Pregnancy can happen with any form of birth control, including the IUD. It is not common however, and most often the discomforts felt, such as achiness and heavier periods, are due to the IUD. Sometimes, as the body adjusts, these subside, but, for some women, they find the discomforts of using an IUD cause them to change to another birth control method.
