So this is a middle school dating situation and please guys and girls help me. I'm into the this girl, she's really pretty with a awesome personality. So me and this girl get along very well actually, we are quite good friends. We hug and laugh and it's all good fun. Today I called her pretty and told her I thought she was the most pretty girl in our grade. I thought she was going to slap me or be like "ok.... That's awkward" but instead she responded saying that I was sweet. So basically there is another guy who is in love with this girl so I a lot of competition. This other guy never really complimented her but this girl called him nice. Unfortunately my best friend HATES her and she HATES him back, so there is a GIANT conflict and takings sides KILLS ME! But that's not the case here. Anyway, she's into lip gloss and sports, but hates talking about sports. I know I should try things she does, but putting lip gloss on my lips isn't what I except. So yeah guys, what's my next move? I would like to date her and be her boyfriend, but even a kiss on the cheek is a good goal for me. Thank you!
