No. The actual act of sex does not delay your period. Pregnancy does, so does illness, weight loss, weight gain, stress, medication, and a number of other things.

But having sex for the first time does not delay your period.

Well, some women don't get a positive pregnancy test for months. In fact, some women never get a positive with a home pregnancy test, even in their 9th month of pregnancy.

Since you're 4 weeks late I'd try testing again, make sure to use first morning urine.

If that test comes back negative then it's time for a more accurate blood test.

Not likely.

One thing to consider though. You will ovulate before you have a period, even your first one. It's very possible that you could get pregnant never having had your first period.

On July 23 we had sex for the first time (with a condom), I was suppost to get my period on the 16th and today is the 17th Im completely freaking out because I usually every 24 days and I haven't gotten any signs, no cramps no any thing, and I can't tell my parents because I will get kicked out... help?

Wait another week. If you still haven't gotten your period try a pregnancy test. If it's negative wait a few more weeks and test again, or wait until your next period is due and if you miss that go to your doctor for a blood test.

That's really all you can do. No form of birth control is 100% so every time you have sex pregnancy is possible.

Question:
Im 18 I had sex July 6th and then got my period July 13th & ended the 21st. I haven't gotten my period this month but I have had gotten white/clear discharge. What could this mean?
