A teacher told a class rum full of students that my friend is pregnant and admitted that she did it to the vice principal and they are not going to do anything about it so her mom pulled her out of school and she is really sad and needs help so I was wondering what she should do... and if she should press charges!

Your friend can't do anything, but her parents can sue the school. They should consult an attorney.

First is your friend pregnant? If your friend is pregnant and the teacher merely told the truth, there is nothing anyone can do.

I agree with Chuck. If she is pregnant than there's nothing she or her parents can do. There's really no law about telling the truth.

If she isn't pregnant than her parents should sue.

I was assuming that your friend is not pregnant. If she is, then why did the teacher do this?

Wouldn't there be some privacy laws in effect here? She may have told the truth, but I am pretty sure teachers aren't supposed to blab personal information about their students.
