Is there a time limit on when an employer must reimburse you for per diem expenses?

To my knowl, knowledge, there are NO laws, federal or state, that mandate or regulate the payment of per diem.

The IRS has guidance as to whether and when per diem is considered taxable income, but they do not mandate payment.

Many of my Indian clients' employers do NOT pay per diem.
