    Are you talking about a Dillard employee who used a doctors note to confirm an illness and absence from work?

    Its not illegal. A company can set its own policies. But you need to provide some context here. How does them not accepting a doctor's note impact you?

    Hello h:

    Dillards is under NO obligation to accept a doctors note. If you didn't show for work, no matter WHAT the reason, they can fire you.
