I saw this movie in the early 90's when I was very young, so I only remember little about the plot, and has no clue who starred in it, or when it was made. What I do remember is that it's about a mother, a father and their child, who lives on a small and low populated Island. An other man on the Island is hopelessly in love with the woman, and therefore kills her husband. As far as I remember the movie ends with the woman jumping off a high cliff and into death, after having been chased by the man that killed her husband.
