    Is it advantageous to retire in Oregon, sell our home, and buy in Vancouver WA?
    We are planning to retire in Oregon in 2 years and wondered if there are advantages to selling our home here and moving to Vancouver Washington?

    Are you thinking about the sales tax? As I recall, Oregon has a higher sales tax, so you could save that way. Or is it the other way around?
