I had a Leep procedure done Thursday morning. I've had no bleeding and no pain. On Friday afternoon I had intercourse, however it was very shallow and not that long in duration... my cervix was not touched. I'm concerned about any negative consequences or complications.

Your main risk is infection. This is why it is recommended not to have sex or insert anything into the vagina for a couple of weeks or so. Often the doctor will say not until you have had your follow-up exam to be sure that you have healed.

At this point, it would be best to refrain from any further intercourse until you have had your next appointment.

My doctor doesn't want to schedule a follow up, I'm not seeing him again for 6 months. He also said I can use tampons. I have had no bleeding or pain at all, so I'm not even sure why he said to use tampons...
