Ignore it! If you don't ignore it you start to interpret every sound, every squeak and every light and shadow as something paranormal.

A friend of mine has the same problem, all started when he heard a hall clock ringing. Yes its true! Sometime when I visit him I can hear the clock ringing too, the problem is no one in the neighborhood has such an old clock.

Then one day he said he heard footsteps... then voices... and finally he said he can feal the presence of ghosts or spirits, but he was not afraid!

Because the footsteps came from above, an apartment with a wooden floor. The voices from an old big TV from the neighbor apartment, right next to his bedroom. The presence feeling came from old poorly shielded electric wires... new wires, problem solved!

The only thing that is still not been solved is the old hall clock... whick freaks me out every time I hear it...

Gevatter makes a good point. We can hang on one little event and then everything after that also "must" be paranormal. But also, hauntings often start small and escalate over time.

That aside, is there a specific reason you feel your place is haunted? Just because someone died in a home does not mean it is haunted.
