In early pregnancy I took medoxyprogestron. Would it effect the baby as it is a unplanned pregnancy

While it is not to be used in pregnancy because of potential risks, the short term use is not likely to cause baby harm. Many women will not know that they are pregnant right away, but of course stop the use of such medications, along with things like alcohol, smoking, etc. as soon as a pregnancy is confirmed.
