I would like to know which day is best to start clomid 50mg if my cycle lasts 6 days, 2-6 or 3-7

It won't make a difference really, but between the two, you will hear 3-7 most often. It can vary in what doctors will recommend, so go with what your doctor suggested.

That is the thing I do not remember & in Germany on most meds they do not put the script on & my doctor is on vaccination so I don't want to bother him for something so simply... just what would you recommend on a 6 day cycle

Sometimes the length of your cycle... from first day of period to the day before the next period starts may be a deciding factor for your doctor, but the actual length of your period would not. How long is your usual cycle from one period to the next?

Have you had testing done to determine whether you are ovulating? Is that why the Clomid was prescribed?

Since it doesn't make a difference, I would go with the 3-7 days. Usually you will then ovulate about a week (maybe a bit sooner or a bit later) after the last pill, so you can get an idea as to when to start trying. Best to have regular sex about a week before you suspect ovulation to occur through several days afterwards.

Did they discuss with you the monitoring that you will have to see if the Clomid is working for you? I would contact them and talk about it. They won't feel that you are bothering them at all. That is what they are there for... :)
