Theft under 5000? (youth, from an employer)
Not too long ago was I brought up and questioned by a couple of people in the management office, and I was suspected of taking part in theft much over 5 thousand, but ended up being charged by the cop who came for theft under five thousand. And I had admitted to stealing on one occasion(giving someone extra change) which I said was like 20 dollars, but the cop then told me that "stealing is still stealing". Since I am a youth and it is my first charge ever, are there any diversion options I could seek? And what would I need to do?

Hire an attorney NOW, seriously and talk to your parents. This is a on going investigation for over 5000 and you just confessed to part of the crime. They can very easy at a drop of a hat, merely increase the charge. They will show you one crime just one of many that could amount to a lot more. Don't confess any more, don't say a word till you talk to your lawyer
