My wife and I have been married for 3 years now and this issue has bothered me for at least a year. During sex my wife doesn't make any noise at all, and when the big moment comes for her I never know if she did or not. I just need to feel and hear that satisfaction that I know I am pleasing someone, knowing I'm doing something she likes. I have talked to her about this acouple times and asked her what does she like and I usually get "I don't know". I have caught myself severial times finding other women sexualy atractive. So I guess my question is, is this a normal thing and what could I do to help?

Of course it's normal to find someone else attractive, as long as you don't act on that. Has she always been like this? She sounds like she has little experience and quite timid? Next time you are intimate with her, ask her if she enjoys this or that while you are trying it with her, try talking to her during sex, get her to open up, tell her what turns you on, including noisy sex etc, see how you get on.

You don't say how old your wife is and that is an important part of how I answer. But I think I can field around that by saying it has a lot to do with how she was brought up where the issue of sex and satisfaction was never discussed with her mom; her mom telling her how bad it was. Years ago it was frowned on to express sexual satisfaction and the word 'orgasm' was a bad word.

Yes I think it is still normal and something that you two have to keep at discussing, or she has to discuss this with an professional who can advise her how to let her inhibitions go.

In all probabily she has never had an orgasm, but it isn't hard to learn how.

S SID, yes she has always been like this, and I do ask her but I find asking or talking kind of ruins the mood a little. I try severial times to get her to open up and told her what turns me on. Also I do make noise.
