Getting Blog to be searchable on Google
I recently created a family history Blog on "Blogger". A relative of mine has several Blogs that were created on Blogger and the information in her daily 'posts' on her Blog are searchable within Google.

However, try as I might, I cannot get Google to recognize the names in my Blog. We have compared all my settings to the ones she uses and they are identical yet nothing gets "out" on Google.

Even going through the Help screens on Blogger returns nothing that will solve this problem.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Search engines use things called Meta Tags, which are tags that when certain people look for, will show up. For example, if I attach a meta tag with the word 'Skyscrapers' on my website, then when searched in Google the word 'skyscrapers', my site will show up. Of course, depending on what meta tags you put in will determine whether you might need to purchase some traffic for it. The more popular words will cost more.
