Low Water Pressure caused by softener
Hi, I've been having low water pressure issues in the house for the last couple weeks so I had a guy come out today to look at my system. He put the water softener in bypass and the pressure increased to normal. He automatically said I need to purchase a new water softener which are basically 700 dollars and up. The system is only 7 years old so I'm just wondering if it's normal to need to completely replace the softener or would simply checking for clogs or replacing the resin beads more than like be a fix. Thanks for any replies
