    Sewer smell from toilet
We have sewage smell coming from toilet. New wax seal installed and we still have the smell. Tried pouring bleach in toilet as suggest by plumber but a couple of days later we still have the smell. We also poured bleach in all toilets, sinks and showers. Nothing is helping. Any suggestions as to what it might be?

Hi costen and Welcome to The Plumbing Page. At AskMeHelpDesk.com. You're responding to a 6 year old dead thread so I gave you one of your own. Look in then upper left hand corner of the first post form the date before you post, Thanks,
Where is the smell the strongest. The base near the floor or the bowl itself? Does the tank water smell? Back to you, Tom

Replacing the wax ring was a good idea. However, I have seen folks do it incorrectly. Can you tell me how the top face of the flange compares to the finished floor surface?
