It's all messed up, is there any hope to save a relationship? If you realize to late that you love him and he keeps saying it won't work?

It does not sound like he wants to be in a relationship right now, so the right thing to do is end it and move on.

Trying to keep somebody that does not feel the same only spells future trouble and not a happy union.

Any relationship can work, but it takes TWO willing partners. I doubt he becomes willing to even try it again if you fight the hard fight. And its important that he becomes willing WITH OUT your influence.
