HELP.. Developing Chicken Pox in late teen years?
I need to know a couple things. I am in my late teens and have never had the chicken pox virus as a child. A couple of days to a week ago I have felt tired, drowsy,- basically sickly. Two days ago I developed some blisters/sores/, little red bumps every where like a rash and I feel just horrible... I am pretty sure I have the chicken pox but would like to know some things about me having this virus so late.. Like:

    - Are there any complications that I am susceptible to since I am late in this, and will they be bad?
    - What are some things I should do about this along the lines of healing?
    - what are some things I shouldn't do while I am infected with this virus?

Your answers would help enormously.. Thank you.

You should go to the doctor to verify if this is what you have.

I finally see it now, and yes, I will visit the doctor tomorrow but I would like to know some kind of early info on the virus if possible.

Veronica Google 'chiken pox late in life' and read fhe Wikipedia website about this. The best info I can offer. But yes, visit your doctor for sure.

Thanks everyone, I went to the doctor and found out it was hot tub folliculitis.
