I went to my gyno and got a culture done on my vagina, while the cuts were occurring and they said that I was negative for all things they tested (including herpes) but I feel like maybe it was a false negative? My symptoms are: the bottom part of my vagina is swollen, I have cuts on both sides of my perineum, when I pee and it splashes back on the cuts they sting. I have no strange discharge or pain anywhere else but the cuts are pretty irritated and I don't know what to do! Any advice? This happens like twice a month and will last for a pretty decent amount of time.

Does it itch at all and how does it look when it FIRST occures

So they tested you and said negative for herpes... then did they bother to go into any further explanation or what? They just told you :negative for herpes... bye"... They must have said something else or given you some sort of idea of what it might be.


Edit- Stupid me... question is over 3 months old. That's what I get for answering a question that someone else just dug up out of nowhere and I didn't bother to look at the date.
