We just replaced our thermostat and our heater is still messing up. We have a White Rodgers coil thermostat. I set the temperature, the heater kicks on and stays on for about 5 minutes but then shuts off. It doesn't kick back on for a while so we have to manually turn it on. What is going on?

How are you manully turning it on? What type of furnace (gas, electric, heatpump, boiler, etc.) Can you let us also know exactly what is happening at the furnace (blower stays on but gas shuts off, or everything shuts down, so on so forth.
