Can be the high fuel consumption due to p1456?

P1456--EVAP Emission Control System Leak Detected (Fuel Tank System)

That code could indicate a loose or leaking gas cap. Try tightening it and the CEL should go out on its own after 20 miles or so. Ensure emission hoses are not deteriorated or leaking. I doubt that it would account for poor gas mileage.
