I created a mural out of plastic bottle lids of Vincent VanGogh some time ago that was installed outside on a building. I used a auto adhesive that worked pretty well adhering the plastic bottle lids to roughened plexiglass. However, I am looking to try to adhere them to a plastic netting so that the mural is flexible. I am thinking about creating a type of large bath that a frame with the tightly stretched netting and lids resting on top of can be dipped into. Can anyone tell me of an adhesive that would be thin enough to be able to do this with that will a.) not drip off completely b.) dry somewhat flexible Thanks for your help. Nice job on the art work! I like your thinking out of the box,you will stand out! The only think I can think of is something like a paper clip. Not the regular one the older on that look like a nailhead on one end and 2 prongs on the other. You open the 2 prongs and press and the nail head on one side and the 2 prongs on the other. Or maybe some rivets, but you would have to use a thicker material to attach them to. You would also need something to put between the lid and the material because of the space, maybe a piece of foam. Well I doon't know if this is what you were asking about or not, but maybe it will make you think in a different direction. Good Luck. Keep up the good work. A unique idea. If I understand you correctly your thinking I should drill a hole in each lid for the brad? Problem is I hide the underpart of the lids and use the full face of the lids for the murals color. Thank you though good idea for other applications! I forgot about those things. Loved using them in school projects a long time ago.
