Russian short story about landowner who swaps places with his serf?
Years ago, I read an amusing short story by a famous Russian author (in a collection of his short stories) about a landowner who thought life would be much simpler/more enjoyable as a serf. So he agreed with his serf to swap places and houses. And sure enough, his former serf got stressed out and burdened. And the former landowner relished his simple life! Would love to share this story with friends, but can't find the short story now. Any ideas?
