My gas fireplace wall switch will not turn on my fireplace any longer. I have to take off the plate on the fireplace and manual click the button for the fireplace to come on. Could you tell me what may be wrong?
Flip the wall switch ON and then check the gas solenoid to see if it is getting power. Could be a failed switch or a popped breaker if you show no 120 vac.
