No, it does not. Water pressure is determined by the pump cut on and cut off pressure settings. Your tank should be pressurized to 2 lbs below the pump cut on pressure. That way your pump comes on just before you run out of water. You can increase your water pressure by increasing the pump cut on and cut off pressures. If you do that you should increase the tank pressure to 2 lbs below the new cut off pressure. Increasing the tank pressure has to be done with the tank empty.

The Widjet Maker nailed nit again. There's only one way to increase pressure and your pump has to do it. Good luck, Tom

Turn off breaker to pump. Open faucet and drain tank completely. Pressurize tank bladder to 2 lbs below desired pressure. Remove switch box cover. Tighten the nut or bolt on the large spring several turns. Turn on breaker and let pump come on. If pump shuts off before desired pressure repeat procedure. You will have to drain tank enough each time to cause pump to come.
Another procedure would be to tighten large spring a lot. Turn on breaker and let pump run until desired pressure is achieved. When desired pressure is reached turn off breaker. Loosen large spring until you see, hear and feel the points open. Turn breaker back on.
