    Friend or girl?
Me and my friend both met this same girl at the beginning of the school year. We both liked her, however he made his intentions clear first. Now, she and I are beginning to have a connection. She has pretty much rejected him. He still won't give up. He is a good friend and I would hate to crush him. But should I choose him or the girl? I know the whole " bros before hoes" but she's not. She's really nice, and smart and pretty. And the best part, she plays modern warfare. Doesn't get any better. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. PS we are all 14 yr old freshmen.

Tough situation... If she has been rejecting your friends advances, its pretty much clear she doesn't want him. First let something solid develop between the two of you, and then tell your friend, also ask him not to make you choose between the two, tell him she was not interested in him from the beginning, and it just happened to be that she is interested in you, it's not like you stole his girl or something.

You explain it to him, and if he can't be reasonable then he learns the hard way. But you better make sure you are in, because its embarrassing for you both to be rejected, and you lose a friend over this.

The key is making it clear what you are going to do, before you do it.

Help him get over her first. Make sure he has completely given up on her. Then you can try going for the girl.
