Well, it's not the fact that you are in the same school or not that matters the most (obviously).

I think that you and your girlfriend can manage your time so that you can see each other more often, if you are in a healthy relationship and you care about each other. Invest more time and energy in your relationship and you're most likely be happier with each other.

As for the other girl, you're probably OK as friends, aren't you? However, if you're asking what should you do, I guess you want to reconsider your relationship with your girlfriend. Think about it... Is it really worth to dump her for this other girl that you say you like a lot? Only you can tell...
